In the 18th of February, 2017, the EMBS chapter had held a ‘Marketing and Sales For Biomedical Engineers’ workshop, and it took a place in The VBC , Amman, Jordan. Letretured by Engineer Saaed Al-Balbisy.
The workshop extended from around 10am – 2pm. The attendants were 30 students.
The workshop goals to express and explain the meanings and definitions of marketing in many different ways, the participates stimulate the real feel of being in that field by doing social active activities and discuss the marketing in the biomedical instrumentations and services majors in particular. The activities helped the participates to work on their own self-confident and improve the way to express and arrange their ideas to be will understand and accepted.
In this workshop the EMBS tried to minimize the gap between the pure biomedical engineering that the students are taught in the university and the demands of the market.
